Policies

The International Journal of Research and Applied Innovations (IJRAI)  is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing. The following policies outline our approach to manuscript handling, peer review, ethics, and author responsibilities.

1. Manuscript Submission Policy

· Authors must submit original, unpublished manuscripts directly to editor@ijeetr.com

· Submissions should not be under consideration by any other journal or conference.

· Manuscripts must strictly follow the formatting and structure described in the Author Guidelines.

· Papers that fail to meet these requirements may be desk-rejected without review.

2. Peer Review Policy

· IJRAI operates a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness and impartiality.

· Each submission undergoes an initial editorial screening for relevance and quality before being sent to expert reviewers.

· Reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s originality, clarity, methodology, and contribution.

· The average review period is 3–4 days.

· Final editorial decisions are based on reviewer feedback and the overall merit of the work.

3. Publication Ethics and Malpractice Policy

IJRAI adheres to strict ethical standards. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to:

· Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or duplicate submissions.

· Provide accurate and transparent reporting of results.

· Ensure proper acknowledgment and citation of sources.

· Maintain honest authorship practices (all listed authors must have contributed significantly).

Any violation may result in rejection, retraction, or reporting to relevant authorities.

4. Copyright and Licensing Policy

· Upon acceptance, authors may be asked to transfer copyright to the journal.

· IJRAI supports both a standard copyright model and optional Creative Commons licenses.

· All works must be properly credited when cited, reused, or distributed.

5. Open Access Policy

· IJRAI is a fully open-access journal.

· Published articles are freely available online to the global research community without subscription fees.

· To support open access, Article Processing Charges (APCs) may apply, which will be communicated clearly upon acceptance.

6. Plagiarism and Similarity Check Policy

· All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate).

· Manuscripts with a similarity index greater than 20% may be rejected immediately.

· Authors are strongly encouraged to perform a self-check before submission to avoid unintentional overlap.

7. Conflict of Interest Policy

· Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any personal or financial relationships that could influence the objectivity of the research or editorial process.

· Full disclosure ensures transparency and upholds the integrity of scholarly publishing.

8. Data Sharing and Reproducibility Policy

· Authors are encouraged to make research data, code, and supplementary materials openly available whenever possible.

· Data may be deposited in recognized repositories or provided as supplementary files.

· A data availability statement should be included in the manuscript if relevant.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality Policy

· IJRAI respects the confidentiality of all submissions.

· Author identities, reviewer reports, and editorial communications remain strictly confidential.

· Personal data collected during submission will never be shared with third parties without explicit consent.

10. Retraction, Correction, and Withdrawal Policy

· Retraction: Applied in cases of proven academic misconduct, plagiarism, or serious errors that compromise findings.

· Correction: Issued for factual or technical errors discovered after publication.

· Withdrawal: Permitted only before the peer review process, if justified by the authors.

All changes are recorded transparently on the article’s permanent record to maintain the scholarly integrity of the journal.
